The War of the Roses was a series of civil wars in England that lasted from 1455 to 1487. The wars were fought between two rival families: the House of Lancaster and the House of York.

The War of the Roses was a series of civil wars in England that lasted from 1455 to 1487. The wars were fought between two rival families: the House of Lancaster and the House of York. Both families wanted control of the English throne. The symbol of Lancaster was a red rose, and the symbol of York was a white rose. For this reason, the conflict became known as the War of the Roses.
Many important battles took place during this period. Kings were removed from the throne, imprisoned, and sometimes killed. One of the most famous kings in the conflict was Richard III from the House of York. The wars finally ended when Henry Tudor defeated Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. Henry Tudor later became King Henry VII and united the two families through marriage. This event marked the beginning of the Tudor dynasty in England.

Güller Savaşı, İngiltere’de 1455 ile 1487 yılları arasında yaşanan bir iç savaşlar dönemidir. Savaşlar, Lancaster Hanedanı ile York Hanedanı arasında gerçekleşmiştir. Her iki aile de İngiltere tahtını ele geçirmek istiyordu. Lancaster ailesinin sembolü kırmızı gül, York ailesinin sembolü ise beyaz güldü. Bu nedenle savaşlara “Güller Savaşı” adı verilmiştir.
Bu dönemde birçok önemli savaş yaşandı. Krallar tahttan indirildi, hapsedildi ve bazıları öldürüldü. Çatışmanın en ünlü krallarından biri York Hanedanı’ndan III. Richard’dı. Savaşlar, Henry Tudor’un 1485 yılında Bosworth Savaşı’nda III. Richard’ı yenmesiyle sona erdi. Henry Tudor daha sonra VII. Henry olarak kral oldu ve iki aileyi evlilik yoluyla birleştirdi. Bu olay İngiltere’de Tudor Hanedanı’nın başlangıcı oldu.
