'Special guests' vacation at Bedri Altıntaş's hotel.
Tourism professional Bedri Altıntaş, known for his philanthropy in Didim, hosts his "special guests" from Istanbul at the Grand Didyma Hotel, which he manages.
The "63 special guests" spend the day either at the hotel's pool or at the Altınkum beach, which is 200 meters away, on a summer vacation.
They also enjoy the entertainment nights organized around the hotel's pool and in the garden. Special breakfasts, lunches and dinners are prepared at the hotel for the "special guests" who come with their families. The owner and all the hotel staff are mobilized to make the "special guests" happy and to host them in the best way possible.
Together with my journalist friends Bülent Eser, Dursun Temel Yurdaer and Yeni Didim Haberim General Coordinator Zekiye Sarışın, we attended one of the entertainment nights organized for the "special guests" and shared their happiness.
Bedri Altıntaş said the following: This group was our guest for the first time 10 years ago. They were very pleased with us and started coming once or twice every year. "Our aim is to make the lives of all disabled people and their families easier, to make disabled people more social individuals in society and to increase their awareness. In this direction, we carry out all the work that will develop disabled people within their rights to life and education and to ensure that they take an active role in life."
